The Shepherd’s House was organized in 2006 to be a healing agent and source of encouragement to the Apple Valley/East Knox area. Meeting each Sunday at 10:00am for worship and Bible Study in the Pier Plaza office complex, just west of the Apple Valley entrance, the Shepherd’s House offers a variety of ministries throughout the year. . .

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
Each Sunday the Shepherd’s House has a program for children during the morning worship service. The program is geared especially for children between grades 1-5.  Special programs are offered throughout the year including a one week, all-day, Bible adventure camp every summer.

CHURCH NURSERY
A fully-equipped nursery is available for parents with young children.

LOSS RECOVERY GROUP

Every fall a support group meets weekly to help those who are dealing with loss. This includes those who have lost jobs, loved ones, health or friends and family due to moves. The group is lead by a trained professional grief counselor and is designed to identify the source of feelings and  offer coping mechanisms and   encouragement.

BOOK STUDIES
Weekly book studies are offered to the community on occasion that cover topics of faith, life, and the human dilemma. These studies are free and open to everyone.

MUSIC AND THE ARTS
Music plays a strong part of each Shepherd’s House service. Attendees are encouraged to participate at any level they would feel comfortable, including the worship team and band. Artists from the congregation contribute pieces to share that amplify the Scripture that is being studied each Sunday.
